One of my favorite things about blogging has been connecting with other bloggers and readers. I have learned about so many amazing books from the book blogging community!
Most of these new conversations about books have been online, but I recently had the chance to join Sarah of Sarah’s Book Shelves on her podcast, Sarah’s Book Shelves Live.
Sarah and I share some similarities–and some differences–in our reading tastes, and we are also at similar life stages that led us both to start our blogs.
In the episode, we talk about reading and blogging as moms and why these things are especially important to us now.
And of course, we talk books. With Mother’s Day coming this weekend, we’re talking books about moms and parenting, and books that might be good gifts for moms.

Blogging Update
You may (or may not) have noticed that things have slowed down around here a bit. Life has taken over and will continue to for at least a couple of months.
I will be slowing things down on the blog for a while and hope to pick things back up soon.
Once I’m back at full speed, I’m looking forward to continuing the page-turner series, and adding more to story of the story posts.
